The technology we have available today allows us to massively automate many tasks that had to be manually done only a few years ago. This has reduced the level of technical ability required for people do things like build their own websites, set up landing pages and build lists of subscribers. You can literally build a website within minutes today, even if you have zero technical computer skills.
First of all, Wealthy Affiliate does not claim to “make you money” free or otherwise. WA is not a PTC or a system of any sort, it’s a reputable educational platform which also gives you access to a community of like-minded people, support and needed tools such as hosting and many others. Wealthy Affiliate has been growing for the past 11 years and there is a reason for it 😉
A. There could be several reason for this error. You might have already created an account in the past and you forgot about it. Someone might have created an account using your email address. Someone might have created a account using your IP (internet connection in your house) and WA thinks it might be a duplicate account. Since I do not own Wealthy Affiliate I cannot help you with this. You can contact WA support directly and see how they can help you out.
A: Yes, Wealthy Affiliate works in Canada. In fact, it works in every country. WA teaches you how to build an online business. As long as you have access to internet you can start building your own business. I am based in Montreal, Canada but I know many members who live (and successfully earn an income) in Australia, UK, Germany, Poland, India, Ukraine, Russia, France, Chile and many many other countries.
Win-win-win. The advertiser wins because they only pay when a purchase is made (as opposed to the shotgun approach of paying to advertise to the masses and waiting for a small percentage to actually buy). The affiliate wins because they make money while providing helpful advice. The customer wins because they get a trusted recommendation for something they might not otherwise have known about.
Great article, Zach. The one question I have is about hyperlinking the brand name with your affiliate link. Isn’t it a little annoying for the reader if the brand name is hyperlinked throughout the article? It may even seem obvious to the reader that the blog is promoting an affiliate product. In an article with 1000+ words, a brand name may be mentioned at least 10-15 times. Do you suggest hyperlinking the brand every time?
I’m starting out with my WA site and jouny right now. And I’m going to use alot of clickbank products! Was it hard and slow at first to start? You really inspired me to hit this hard! I know it wont be over night. Its it will take a lot of hard work. But I’m ok with that. Just want to get an idea of the speed of your progress was. Not at all going to base mine off yours. I know it will be differant for everyone. Again thank you for the insiration and feed back! Also i’m going to start another site but after I get this one going LoL. Really want to work for myself. Thank again 🙂 Zach

I don't like Facebook groups because Facebook loves to shove ads in your face and distract you. I've gotten on Facebook many time to engage with an entrepreneur community only to get distracted by my news feed or ads. Wealthy Affiliate really got rid of the distractions by building the community into the platform. No ads, no dramatic statuses. Just pure business. I really like that.
To answer your question about what are you getting paid for. You are starting up your own online business and learning how to build a website from scratch. There are thousands of people everyday that are looking for reviews of different products (just like you did for Ameriplan) They usually like to read a review of something before they buy it. This is where you could come in with your website about a passion or hobby of yours. There are affiliate programs for just about anything that is sold online.
Websites and services based on Web 2.0 concepts—blogging and interactive online communities, for example—have impacted the affiliate marketing world as well. These platforms allow improved communication between merchants and affiliates. Web 2.0 platforms have also opened affiliate marketing channels to personal bloggers, writers, and independent website owners. Contextual ads allow publishers with lower levels of web traffic to place affiliate ads on websites.
But, after all the reviews I read, it seems that the only way to make big bucks from WA is through its own affiliate programs. This doesn’t sit well for someone like me who wants to do affiliate in other niches and still earn more than my last corporate job. And… I’m afraid that I would still need to spend a lot of money from media buying (i.e. solo, ads, pps) just to earn back and more.
Hey Alex. My name is Aida, from Nairobi, Kenya. This is very informative. Just came across Wealthy Affiliate in my rendezvous around the net. I’ve been in network marketing for about 8 months now…It was mostly exciting but the support system hasn’t been great! Made me start exploring ways of pushing my business through online sales/ leads and somehow landed on WA as one of two options I’ve found to be genuine. Your review is on point. I wouldn’t mind joining your network of Affiliate Marketing. Do you? Let me know how we can partner.
The live webinars are held every Friday evening at 8PM EST 5PM Pacific. If you happen to miss them don’t worry because they are recorded and you can watch them anytime and on your schedule. I would suggest that you open your FREE account today, fill out your profile (With an image and a brief description of yourself) and get started on your first training lesson.
Yes I have been with WA for a while now (3 years to be exact) When first starting out I wouldn’t recommend starting more than 1 niche due to the fact that you will likely become overwhelmed trying to learn and write about 2 niches at the same time. Once you get some experience under your belt and are making some steady sales from 1 niche you could branch out into other niches (Like I did)
With Premium Membership, you really get everything. I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am today if I haven’t sign up for premium. I was out of luck and out of cash when I first joined Wealthy Affiliate but I bite the bullet and focus on the things that really matter. Your chance of success increases tremendously with Premium because you get all you need to know and you get a damn quick response for all your questions.
Want to know a little secret about this site? When I first started this site, I only planned on monetizing by selling my OWN affiliate marketer training course. About halfway through creating my course, I realized that I would never be able to provide the type of quality product I intended. Even if I could, it would become outdated so fast that in just a couple years, I wouldn’t be able to sell it anymore.
Mistake #5: Promoting a lot of affiliate products instead of just a few. Once you start affiliate marketing, you realize how easy it is to share affiliate links. Instead of becoming an affiliate for a lot of different products and sharing them liberally, I recommend concentrating on just a few and sharing them intentionally. It doesn’t seem as spammy, plus you can be sure the products you do promote are closely aligned with your brand and message. Deep is better than wide.
You can actually get started for free with absolutely NO risk and NO catches. There is a starter membership which I have listed everything that you will get when you join as a free member in my review above. This includes everything you need to get started building the foundation of your website along with the proper tools and the right amount of help and support when you need it the most.
I will be getting in contact with you within 60 minutes of you joining to make sure you are finding your way around the community and answer any questions you may have. I am looking forward to working with you Maria and I hope this has answered all of your questions. Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have anymore questions let me know and I would be glad to answer them for you. Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review 2018 - Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It?
