One thing I don’t like is that Wealthy Affiliate mainly focuses on beginner to intermediate trainings. While this makes sense as the vast majority of Wealthy Affiliate members are brand new to the industry, I would also love to see some more advanced training provided for those of us with a decade of experience in the industry. Sometimes even the pros like to be challenged!
Individual sellers and companies offering products or services have to deal with their consumers and ensure they are satisfied with what they have purchased. Thanks to the affiliate marketing structure, you’ll never have to be concerned with customer support or customer satisfaction. The entire job of the affiliate marketer is to link the seller with the consumer. The seller deals with any consumer complaints after you receive your commission from the sale.

My major concern is this. From what I garner, having great blogging skills in a niche area of your choice and wealth of knowledge (and hard work of course) is integral to having a successful business online. Thus, I will like to know how WA might help in honing those blogging skills for those that are newbies or don’t have the knowledge depth in their niche field to be confident on blogging about it. Like are there methodologies in place to take a newbie to a decent and possibly professional blogging level? Even if this might sound apparent; with your experience, will researching in the niche choice help to fill the knowledge gap to a level where you can start posting quality contents on the website/blog?
The entire reason I created this site is because as an affiliate marketer, I started getting upset with the lack of ethics and misinformation being spread from MANY affiliate marketers, especially as it pertains to the “make money online” niche. So many online marketers out there promise you quick easy money if you just sign up and pay for this or that. Quite frankly, I’m sick of it. Growing an affiliate marketing business is just like starting any other business – it takes time, effort, and a lot of trial and error. I won’t get into it here, but if you’d like you can read my honest article about how long it takes to earn a full-time living with affiliate marketing. Wealthy Affiliate Scam or Not? REVIEW - TRUTH Exposed! WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU JOIN!!!
Wow! Where to start first/ Great review and very detailed. I liked the part about how you started. The review itself was laid out in a very in order and organized manner. Very easy to understand and I felt as though you were talking face to face with me. I liked your reasons to join and reasons not to join. The whole decision process is pretty straight forward for the reader once he or she has finished reading the review. Nice work, and well done.
Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways people make money online. It is a strategy where an individual partners with a business in order to make a commission by referring readers or visitors to a business’s particular product or service. But that really is quite a simple explanation. To be really successful at making money with affiliate marketing there is a little more to it.
I wouldn’t say you can’t be successful with a free domain, for example barenakedscam.siterubix.com, but having a personal domain will definitely help with branding and makes it more credible, plus there’s no restriction on the design if its your own domain. Free domains have certain restrictions in terms of the customization of the look and feel of the website.
It's a little awkward, so we'll get straight to the point: This Monday we humbly ask you to defend Wikipedia's independence. We depend on donations averaging about $16.36. But 98% of our readers in the U.S. are not responding to our messages, and time is running out to help in 2018. If everyone reading this gave $2.75, we could keep Wikipedia thriving for years to come. The price of your Monday coffee is all we need. When we made Wikipedia a non-profit, people warned us we'd regret it. But if Wikipedia were commercial, it would be a great loss. Wikipedia unites all of us who love knowledge: contributors, readers and the donors who keep us thriving. The heart and soul of Wikipedia is a community of people working to bring you unlimited access to reliable information. Please take a minute to help us keep Wikipedia growing. Thank you.
Mistake #2: Using the “They must not be my people” excuse to be spammy. I’m not a fan of this common tactic. Here’s how it works: people send a huge number of sales/promotional emails to their list with no warning and with no easy way to opt out. When people complain or unsubscribe, they put it on them (“Oh well, they aren’t my type of subscriber anyway…”), instead of taking responsibility for the spam (let’s call it what it is). What ever happened to “treat others the way you want to be treated”?
The whole membership site is just a clever cover for the infamous pyramid scheme. And since all the members posts these fake standard sounding positive reviews all over the internet, it’s pretty much impossible to find any criticism of WA. Not even the best and most respected membership sites have only positive reviews. The creators of WA are indeed cunning and very clever scammers.

An influencer is an individual who holds the power to impact the purchasing decisions of a large segment of the population. This person is in a great position to benefit from affiliate marketing. They already boast an impressive following, so it’s easy for them to direct consumers to the seller’s products through social media posts, blogs, and other interactions with their followers. The influencers then receive a share of the profits they helped to create.
Anyone can succeed in this business, no matter what your age is or if you are tech savvy or not. When I started here close to 3 years ago I had absolutely no idea how to build websites and I had never even heard of Internet marketing before. I just knew I was sick of living paycheck to paycheck and never being fulfilled in what I was doing for a living.

On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate will be most worth it if you are a beginner to affiliate marketing and have no idea how or where to start. There is an overload of information on the internet and while you can probably find everything you need to know online, they are not in a very structured format - hence one value is the step-by-step tutorials and guides that Wealthy Affiliate has to cater to people of varying levels of experience (even if you are a complete non-tech person.

I have no marketing talent whatsoever, but, I am happy to know that I can learn marketing talent and skill from Wealthy Affiliate. I do have a desire to make money online, and according to the reputation of Wealthy Affiliate, it seems like a viable choice to enlist their services. However, I have not the slightest idea of what good or service I could market and I’m skeptical that whatever idea I may have has already been done and is more popular and of more use than whatever good or service I have in mind. In this case I like the philosophy “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” I would add that I do have an interest in video games, making a website to encourage consumers on their purchasing decisions and increase their knowledge about video game software and hardware is an inventive suggestion, but isn’t there already many YouTube channels that do just this? Furthermore, even if I made such a website, I wouldn’t want to make money by scamming or much less spamming people with shameless product placements and advertisement placement populating the majority of such a website.

I’m sure you would agree with me that falling for scams and losing money is not fun at all. I have wasted over $1,000 when I was looking for a way to earn some money from home. I have bought every single hyped-up product that crossed my path and promised to make me rich and I became very skeptical about the whole idea of making money on the internet. This is why when I found WA I swore to myself it would be the last program I ever try. I almost moved on with my life believing there is nothing but scams online.

Upselling is a sales technique where the salesperson encourages a more expensive purchase by a customer by persuading them to get an upgraded version of an item or to purchase add-ons. Remember our food processor example? That food processor could probably be best used with a book of recipes, which also can be purchased at the same company’s website.
Wow this is a really comprehensive review of Wealthy Affiliate and I have learned things I never knew even though I’ve been a member for nearly 3 months. I love the program though and agree with what you have said. I also love the testimonials you have and the evidence you have given that people can make a living online. My own income is small but growing and i know that I’m investing in my future. Thanks for such an thorough review.

This is more of a system for people who aren’t confident that they can create an online niche website due to lack of knowledge or no idea where to start. I honestly wouldn’t recommend this for veterans in the online marketing and blogging world, there is very little here that understanding Panda and Hummingbird can’t teach you, as well as a few misguided blog posts of your own and learning how to cater to your audience.
In terms of coaching, my advice is to try to go it alone for a while until you have specific questions you need to ask, and specific things that are troubling you in your business. Having a coach as a beginner is often a waste of money in my opinion, unless you have the cash laying around and really want to make progress fast. Most people do fine bootstrapping, then get a mentor when the hurdles start to get higher and more frequent.

In the BigCommerce affiliate program, you receive a 200% bounty per referral and $1,500 per Enterprise referral, with no cap on commissions. Plus, the more referrals you drive through the program, the higher your commission tier will go. BigCommerce uses an industry leading 90-day cookie, so you will receive credit for up to three months for the referrals you generate. Also, there are no obligations or minimum commitments to join the program.

2. Finding the correct products to promote – If you’re promoting crap products, no one is going to buy them. No matter how good you are at marketing. Finding the correct merchant is one of the most important steps on your affiliate journey, you need to be promoting attractive products that people want to buy. That way, half the work is already done for you!

It’s a constant learning process Shahbaz. And, you can work on the courses at your own convenience. Some people take 3 months to complete and some takes a year. It’s really up to you. Well the course teaches you how to make money, and some people took a week to earn their first dollar, some people took 3 to 4 months (I did), some took 6 to 12 months and some don’t make any money.
I have a question for you! But let me give you a little background info first! Some years ago I had a company in Utah make me a website; in the long run I was not overly excited with it, to say the least, and I cancelled them and by doing so I lost somewhere between $500-$750! I started to search the internet about some info pertaining to this company, of course too late! During searching I came ‘somehow’ across your website and your reviews! Lo and behold, in the various reviews, the company in question, you wrote a skating report on them and deservedly so! As mentioned before a company in Utah designing websites, you may recall whom I am referring to!?
Personally, I think everyone should do the free membership first. Why would you start off with a paid membership when you get some of the premium features during the first seven days? Not only that, but the Level 1 Entrepreneur course is included with the free membership. Since that's the first module that all members should complete, you might as well do it for free.
Hope all is well with you. I would like to thank you for the very helpful review. It’s been about a week now I have been researching Wealthy Affiliate. Should I, shouldn’t I, should I shouldn’t I. I believe I read your review about 4x. I’m excited to say I”M GOING IN!! I have no clue what my niche, skills, etc is but I know my goal is to help people and make some money doing it. I’m ready to put in the work and see results… (hopefully)

I would suggest that you open your free account using the signup link above. I will be sending you my personal welcome greeting within 60 minutes of you joining. I will also be there to help you out whenever you have questions or something doesn’t make any sense to you.
What are the terms of the program? Is there anything I need to be aware of that would make a program not worth it for me. For example, Amazon Associates does not allow you to put your affiliate links in emails. If your main method of communication with your audience is via email, Amazon might not be a good fit for you. Wayfair, for example, does not allow their affiliates to post affiliate links on Pinterest or any other social media site. If that’s a strategy you rely on, Wayfair might not be a good fit for you.
I have just started WA and to anybody who is considering this, it has ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that you need to succeed in affiliate marketing, but it comes with a catch….there is a ton you have to learn. 50 lessons in all. Think of this as going to school to learn a trade. From what I hear on the WA chat, you might make a full time living at it in one, two years or never. The advantage is that it’s a dirt cheap career. But no short cuts here. You gotta work at it, part time, full time, off and on like a lot of people, but everything you need is there. It’s all up to you. The only limitation, the only unknown factor IS YOU.
I am a very sceptical person and after getting my fingers burnt on other opportunities I was of course sceptical at first about Wealthy Affiliate however as a unique offer that I have not experienced before, a new sign up member has full access to all member areas for a 30 day trial so you are actually able to get stuck in to the 10 lesson per levels of step by step tuition for free so if it Is not for you after the trial you don’t have to pay anything just simply walk away.
If you treat this like a real business and put lots of time and effort into it you will definitely start to see your hard work paying off. If you haven’t already I would sign up for your FREE account by clicking on the join now button above. Once you are inside you should complete your profile setup by uploading a pic of you or you can use 1 of the ones WA provides you with.
Wealthy Affiliate was launched in 2005 and it has been growing and improving for all these years. The founders invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into the platform every single year. When I first joined in 2007 the site looked completely different and I must admit, it had less training and less support. They had less tools and the site navigation was complicated.
Thanks again for your reply. Few Other members in my WA research have told me that not every niches are profitable in WA. So picking a niche that is not profitable can make all of my work go down the drain; while others can succeed because they picked profitable niches, which guarantees them more relevant traffic, sales and success in WA. How can I find out in WA which niches are profitable, if I join WA? Also, can I incorporate as many languages as I want in all of my websites? Like if my website is in English, the visitors can scroll up or down the Language section on my websites to choose to see the website in any language they prefer?
There also appears to be a confusion about Amazon. Wealthy Affiliate concentrates on affiliate marketing, which means promoting products that are already being sold by other vendors. If you become an Amazon Associate (aka affiliate) you can promote every single product that is being sold on Amazon and make a commission on every sale. You can check out the associate program here. I guarantee you will not find a single mention of payment because Amazon Associate program is free to join. The first month, the second month, and always. Why would they charge you for promoting their products? It is completely free.
Once I get a better idea of what you are interested in I can help you narrow down your niche and get you started down the right path. You can write your websites in whatever language you want and the one that you are most comfortable with. Google will translate them into the language that people have selected as their primary language. This is called Google translate and you may have visited a site that was in another language and had a pop up come up asking if you would like to have this website translated into your language of choice.

I have revealed a profitable niche website ones that was promoting motorcycle accessories and parts. Guess what happened? 15 very similar websites popped up within a few months. Unfortunately many people would rather copy your niche, your content ideas, your keywords rather than do the proper research and find their own. Folks want shortcuts to success, people expect to make a bunch of money within a day-week-month which simply isn’t going to happen. Did these websites “stole my business”? No but they definitely put a dent in it. This is why I am now very protective of my niche websites. I just launched yet another niche websites (music industry) and believe me I won’t be bragging about it openly as I spent hundreds of hours coming up with article ideas and finding amazing keywords for it. However, if you look hard enough you’ll find several members who reveal their niches and their income as well.
I found Wealthy Affliate based on reviews by Affliate marketers on YouTube. ( not to mention they get paid a small fee for very one they sign up under them) Many had great things to say found very few bad things on this company. I wanted to earn extra cash at home. So I signed up. Only to realise it is A LOT of work you will need to do especially if your a beginner. I won’t recommend anyone with basic English/grammar skills even the tool they help supports isn’t Adequate enough. In order to see real results it will take months if not years before you see a real income. It’s subscription so even if your not putting in the work you will still need to pay up. Not to mention if you do decide to leave you will LOSE your domain name. It’s an requirement, they do offer a free one but recommend/ urge you to purchase one from them. I would suggest you really think about putting your money anywhere that sounds to good to be true. Nothing comes easy or free but most are Pyramid systems that can really have you believing your going to be a millionaire.
As far as how many articles you would need to get some good rankings this would depend on if you do in depth keyword research before you write the articles. From my own personal experience, I had around 30 articles before I started to see a good amount of traffic to my websites and started making sales. This would vary depending on how good of research you do and how well you follow the training.
For your second question, You only get paid when someone clicks on your link and buys something. For Amazon they don’t necessarily have to buy the item you are promoting for you to make a sale. If they buy anything at all when they go through your link you still get the commission for it. If you have Google ad sense on your website and someone clicks on your ads you will get paid every time someone clicks on them.
Wealthy Affiliate is also very strict on spam, which in the end is a GOOD thing, but I have to be careful sometimes about promoting my sites or referencing them. Sometimes I do have valuable information on my site that I think could help people during live chat sessions or Q&A’s, but I don’t share because I don’t want it to look like I’m spamming. They do allow people to promote their sites in certain areas, but in order to keep the community from filling up with self-promotion spam, there are times when it is best not to share certain information from outside sources, especially my own sites.
