Online affiliate marketing is wide open. You can write about or promote whatever you want! However, the incredible amount of possibilities can be overwhelming, and that leaves a lot of people saying that they don't have any good ideas. There are literally hundreds of comments below saying “I don't know which topic to pick”, or “I don't have any hobbies so what should I do?”.
You can join these affiliate programs for free and they give you something called an affiliate link when you join. At the bottom of your review or article you insert your affiliate link and tell them they can buy the product by clicking on that link. If they buy the product through your link you make a commission on that sale. These can add up pretty fast after you get the hang of it.
You will also have direct access to my expert help and support along with 1,000’s of other experienced marketers who will be there to answer any questions you have starting out. The only thing you lose access to after 7 days is the communication aspect. This means you won’t be able to ask questions, participate in the live chat or communicate with anyone. This is a premium only feature and you are given full access to this so that you can try out everything WA has to offer for 7 days without having to pay for it up front.
I saw where you signed up and that’s great man. Your next steps should be to get started on your first training lesson. I have provided you with the link to this in my welcome message that has been posted on your profile. There is also a big green button on your left when you are on the WA website that says “GET STARTED HERE”. If you need any help going through the lessons please let me know and I will walk you through them and explain anything to you that you don’t understand.
I see people who buy an online course and hope that it will help them get rich right off the bat. They want a complete A-Z. In reality, it’s always going to be a process of trying numerous courses, filtering information, testing things for yourself and seeing what works for you. Courses and mentors will get you there faster, but you will need to put in the work and think for yourself.
Also, Wealthy Affiliate primarily focuses on building niche websites and driving traffic to them through SEO. If you are more inclined towards another method of affiliate marketing such as through creating membership subscription sites, running e-commerce or drop-shipping sites, or getting traffic through solo ads, then Wealthy Affiliate will not be as worth it to you too.
The way the training is structured is great for learning. Many courses just throw videos at you without any structure. Seriously. I've taken a course where all the members complained about how disorganized it was. The founders said it was purposefully disorganized to teach you how to dig and search for things like an entrepreneur. I couldn't make up something so crazy!
Promote products that are stepping stones to products you will create in the future. This is a bit more advanced, but is a great way to think ahead. Amy Porterfield suggests thinking about the first thing your followers will need in order to get started with what you provide. For example, I teach people how to blog, so the first thing they need to start a blog is hosting. That’s why I am an affiliate for hosting.
Personally, I think everyone should do the free membership first. Why would you start off with a paid membership when you get some of the premium features during the first seven days? Not only that, but the Level 1 Entrepreneur course is included with the free membership. Since that's the first module that all members should complete, you might as well do it for free.

I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliate for close to a year. The lessons are great and easy to follow. There is so much information here that it takes a while to take it all in. They teach you to build your own website, join affiliate groups, write good content, and share it on social media. They have an awesome, positive community. I can talk to members from all over the world. We are willing to share our knowledge to help each other. After three months we can write trainings of our own to add to the wealth of information that is already available to WA members. It starts out free to join, with 7 days of free lessons, free starter membership and two free websites. You must go premium after that; but there is a discount for the first month. There is a discount also for going yearly. The training and community make the cost worthwhile. I give WA an A+++++++!

I have just talked to Kyle(Co owner of WA) and he said that India is one of the countries where the starter membership isn’t available. The only other option would be if you could select a different country and try to join that way. If that doesn’t work then you would need to go premium from the start. You can get your first month at a highly discounted rate of only $19 for your first month.

I would suggest that you get started by opening up your FREE account by clicking on the “JOIN NOW” button above. When you join I will be there to help you out every step of the way. If you have any questions or need my help with anything let me know. I really am looking forward to working with you Andrew and helping you get started with your own online business. If you have anymore questions please let me know and I would be more then happy to help you out.
When I first joined WA I had no idea what I was getting myself into at the time. I just followed the training and when there was something I didn’t understand I would ask questions. You don’t need to have your own products to sell and that is the beauty of affiliate marketing. You can be an affiliate for big name companies like Amazon, Wal-mart, and Ebay. You decide which products you want to promote on your website from these vendors.
As far as writing content I would suggest that you follow the training and ask questions when you have them in the comment thread below each lesson. You would simply need to do some in-depth research on these other companies just like you did for WA. After you have compiled this information simply put it in your own words and write it in a way that it speaks to your audience.
Upselling is a sales technique where the salesperson encourages a more expensive purchase by a customer by persuading them to get an upgraded version of an item or to purchase add-ons. Remember our food processor example? That food processor could probably be best used with a book of recipes, which also can be purchased at the same company’s website.
If you’re including affiliate links in your post, you’ll also want to include a disclosure so your readers know that you’ll earn a commission off of their purchase. If you’d like, you can set this up with Tasty Links so that a disclosure either follows each link or is inserted above your post content! Here’s an example of a blanket disclosure on Pinch of Yum:
You will be writing the articles yourself on your own website (Free or paid) by following along with the training and completing the daily tasks for each lesson. By the time you are finished with the first course you will have the foundation of your site up and should have all of your core pages written out and published. As far as articles and domain revisions I would advise you to continuously keep your website up to date and always make sure you have fresh new content coming out at all times.
If you need some help building your first website and your communication priveledges have expired at WA I would be more than happy to help you get your first website up and running. I know how hard it is just starting out because I was in your shoes a couple of years ago. Feel free to send me an email at Scott@aworkathomebusinesses.com and I would be more than happy to help you out Carrl.
I’m glad you have found my review of WA to be helpful and let me take a few minutes to answer your questions about WA. When you join WA you will be learning how to build your own online business. You do this by choosing something you’re interested in or a hobby of yours and building a website around this hobby. There’s in depth training and task based lessons that walk you through everything from choosing products that are related to your interests to showing you how to apply to companies like Amazon, Target, Best Buy and many other top retailers online that sell these products.
I already have a website and a domain name. My website is made with WordPress, and GoDaddy hosts the website. Would I have to move my website to another host, that is part of WA? Also I am thinking of keeping the website much the same way it is now(with a few changes). I already have a blog page, can I just add my links there? I have a gardening business, and I want to talk about ergonomic tools, pads, sun hats, shoes, bug spray, garden related art or jewelry, proper use of one’s body while gardening, getting the most from your gardening and achieving health and wellness through gardening. Not just the movement of digging, or hauling mulch, but with every technique I teach. 🚨Wealthy Affiliate Review 2018 + $5k/month Strategy REVEALED🚨
