As a member of Wealthy Affiliate, I highly recommend it myself. I also agree that in order to derive benefit or results, one has to put in sufficient time and energy. But other than that, with the help of WA training and support, the sky’s pretty much the limit. One can have 0 traffic or 100,000 visitors per month depending on how well one follows the instructions or training. I admit I myself have previously not followed all the instructions closely and spent too much wasted time on things that don’t matter very much (at least not in early stage of game) such as obsessing over which WordPress template to use, but now I remind myself to stay on track more and follow instructions.
Creating a unique tracking ID for an Amazon link is easy. Simply log in to your Amazon affiliate dashboard, click “Account Settings” at the very top on the right, then click “Manage Tracking IDs”. From there you can make a new tracking ID so you can track which web page/campaign sold what. You can learn more about using Amazon’s Tracking IDs here.
Most businesses require startup fees as well as a cash flow to finance the products being sold. However, affiliate marketing can be done at a low cost, meaning you can get started quickly and without much hassle. There are no affiliate program fees to worry about and no need to create a product. Beginning this line of work is relatively straightforward.
I’m glad you have found my review of WA to be helpful and let me take a few minutes to answer your questions about WA. When you join WA you will be learning how to build your own online business. You do this by choosing something you’re interested in or a hobby of yours and building a website around this hobby. There’s in depth training and task based lessons that walk you through everything from choosing products that are related to your interests to showing you how to apply to companies like Amazon, Target, Best Buy and many other top retailers online that sell these products.
It’s always best to learn how to do something yourself so you can save money and gain more knowledge of how everything works. Other than that there’s no way to streamline the process. I really hope this has helped you out Meeri and has helped answer your questions. I really think WA could help you get your foot in the door of affiliate marketing and show you how to build a very profitable online business.
One of the best review I have seen online in recent years! It is so simply written and so motivating. I am planning to join the WA, but as it happens, being a bit scared if it will give a return. As I am living in India, there is no free program for us so I need to pay out $49 in first month. Let see what happens. Currently thinking of a Niche, and that I will start off! Thanks for the review
In my honest opinion, Wealthy Affiliate is the #1 place to get trained on how to build passive income websites. If there was a better course, I would have wrote a negative review and recommended you elsewhere. My personal recommendation is for you to join as a free member to test the program before buying it. Also, don't forget to pick my brain and message me for 1-on-1 mentoring.
Once you become a premium member you’ll be able to contact many experienced online marketers who have been making a living from this for many years. (Many of them are making 6 figures a year or more) If you are looking to make $1,000 per month within your first 3-6 months I would recommend that you devote at least 5-6 hours a day to this if you possibly can.
1. Finding a mentor – When you first get started with affiliate marketing, you need guidance. You will have a million questions to ask and having a mentor really does make a significant difference in terms of starting you off in the best possible way and giving you the correct advice you need to start taking action and build your internet business.
I worked hard at this and spent as much time as I possibly could on this everyday and within 4 months I had made my first sale. Wealthy Affiliate provides you with all the tools and training needed for you to be successful, the only thing missing is you. If you work hard at this and dedicate yourself to the training lessons, take action on what you learn, and ask questions when you have them then there’s no reason why you couldn’t be just as successful as I have been or more.

You can Get Started For Free by creating a starter account. You are free to remain as a starter member for as long as you would like until you are ready to take your business to the next level by investing in the premium membership. The $299 price that someone below is asking about is WA’s yearly Black Friday sale where you can get an entire year of the best training, tools, and around the clock help and support for pennies a day.
Hi Mel, You can stay as a Free member for as long as you like. There is no time limit on the Free membership, just keep in mind the whole idea of the starter membership is to get you started. If you check out the Free membership, and you think that this is something you would like to make a career out of then you should check out the premium membership. There is no obligation though whatsoever to upgrade, it’s totally up to you when you feel you are ready. If you have any more questions feel free to get in contact with me and I will help you out. Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways people make money online. It is a strategy where an individual partners with a business in order to make a commission by referring readers or visitors to a business’s particular product or service. But that really is quite a simple explanation. To be really successful at making money with affiliate marketing there is a little more to it.
The modus operandi of WA is ALL about pretending to be a friendly membership training site, with videos, personal support, comments and chats with experienced affiliate marketers. You get a sense of a great, encouraging and welcoming community, in the beginning, just long enough to last you through the trial and to have you sign up to the monthly program.
I see a few complaints here and I actually did the same sort of research before joining Wealthy Affiliate. I even remember reading a report like this. What I did find is that it was easy to make a decision on whether or not to try it after reading mostly positive reviews and reading a few negative reviews on here from what appears to be competitors and those that maybe had a bad experience for one reason or another. I see some said their write access was cut off and I think that can happen if you get reported for spamming others within the community. There is no spam allowed at WA which is nice.
You can actually get started for free with absolutely NO risk and NO catches. There is a starter membership which I have listed everything that you will get when you join as a free member in my review above. This includes everything you need to get started building the foundation of your website along with the proper tools and the right amount of help and support when you need it the most.
Take advantage of marketing tools whenever possible. Many affiliate programs offer useful resources to their affiliates aimed at helping affiliates make more sales. These range from monthly newsletters highlighting upcoming sales, tips or affiliate case studies, Facebook Groups just for affiliates, private webinars explaining marketing strategies in depth and more. Ultimate Bundles does this exceptionally well.
The first 10 lessons that you get with your starter (free) membership are not useless. They explain how everything works and they give a chance to someone like you to decide if this is something they want to do. Without actually asking you for any money. If you like what you see, than go ahead for Premium where you get a lot more training. If you feel it isn’t something you like than that’s that. Most “training” programs will charge you up to hundreds of dollars just to let you in – WA decided to do this for free.
You will be writing the articles yourself on your own website (Free or paid) by following along with the training and completing the daily tasks for each lesson. By the time you are finished with the first course you will have the foundation of your site up and should have all of your core pages written out and published. As far as articles and domain revisions I would advise you to continuously keep your website up to date and always make sure you have fresh new content coming out at all times.
Yes, you can visit other websites that are in your niche to get some ideas and learn more about it. I actually still do that to this day and once I get my ideas together, I write my review on all the information I’ve researched and put it in my own words. This is perfectly fine and a great practice for you to get into when structuring articles for your website. I hope this helps you out and let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks Rick, I think if people see proof that you are making money at this then that will show them that this is a real opportunity . Anyone no matter what skill level you are can get started today in their own online business. When I first came here I had no idea what I was doing. Thanks to the awesome training at Wealthy Affiliate, I now have an awesome website that is ranking very well in Google and I am making sales from it. I really appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment Rick and if I can help you out in your online campaigns just let me know.
Use your personal words & experience with the product. Your own content, or photos & videos of yourself using the product are always the most effective. For example, many affiliate programs provide swipe copy to their affiliates which is pre-written emails, post material or social media posts. These can be helpful as a guide, but they often scream swipe copy, aren’t written in your voice (the one your readers know!) and if a lot of affiliates are using it, are overdone.
