This method sort of takes you accountable. The most important thing you have to do is to take action! It is like doing your homework (I mean… when it’s fun) and your teacher giving you a good grade every time you show it to him/her. You feel you want to complete the lessons because you know you’ll get one step closer to making your dreams come true.

With that said, I want to fully disclose that I am indeed an affiliate for Wealthy Affiliate. If you click on any of my affiliate links, like this one, I get credit in the event you sign up for a paid membership option. If you do want to sign up for Wealthy Affiliate, clicking on my affiliate link is actually beneficial for you, too. If you sign up after clicking my link, I get notified and we are able to have private 1-on-1 conversations within’ the Wealthy Affiliate community. This is a huge added benefit and all you have to do is use my affiliate link before signing up for your free account.

I started a blog which I plan to monetize only through affiliate marketing and my own products, no ads. I’ve been working on building an audience for my blog, for about 1 year and a half, many people think is maybe too much time, but I just want to make sure that I build enough trust with my readers before I start to try to make them buy something.
There are many other online forums and programs that talk about making money online but whenever you ask a simple question many users will reply with: “Dude, this stupid question has been asked many times before – just google it!” – You will not get this kind of reply on WA. Wealthy Affiliate is a learning center so there are no stupid questions, every question is important and people will try to answer it as well as they can. However if you do not feel comfortable asking a question (don’t be shy, just ask!) you could simply look through the resources and questions other people asked – I can almost guarantee you will find your answer within minutes.
I stumbled to this site as I was attempting to get even more information about a company that you seem to know by name all too well AmeriPlan. For me from the first contact from that company there was something in my head already telling me that this company was not for me, however it ALMOST seemed to me that they wanted you to do reseach on them since they claim to have a good review with the BBB. So with lack of my better judgement I put those feelings aside and put more of my time in doing some research on them. I went to the BBB site, and saw nothing but not so good all the way to simply terrible reviews there. At that point (which was approximately 2 weeks ago) I knew that that this company was just not a good fit for me. The emails kept coming, and to be honest I wrote them off, however did not advise them that I was not interested yet. Today I was planning to do just that simply respond to the emails and let them know, but before I completed that for some reason I decided to google their name review. I am the type of person that always beleives that everything happens for a reason, now so here I am on your page. I know this has been very long, but I wanted you to know how and where I came from. What you guys are doing here seems VERY interesting! I am not looking for some kind of get rich quick scheme that is simply not going to happen. When something sounds to good to be true it is, or illegal. I have 3 questions for you if you could answer if not well like I said earlier everything happens for a reason. Do you need to have GREAT writing skills? Social studies and Language was not my best subjects in school nor were they the worest just in the middle. I am not a gamer, I do not have hobbies such as fishing, golf, etc. How do people or did you figure out what was a good subject for a website? Lastly the handful of things that I am very interested about is completely overloaded in the “YouTube” community with so much of what I enjoy overloaded in the YouTube world do you think that a website would stand a chance against those guru’s of YouTube?
You see what I’m getting at? If you break these niches down like I’ve done for you above and gradually start to build your site out you can branch out into other target markets in the tattoo niche. If you haven’t already, I would sign up for your free starter account by clicking on the “Become A Member” button above in blue. This way you’ll be able to get a feel for what you’ll be doing and get to check out everything that WA has to offer you without spending any of your hard earned money.

Hey Penny, I am glad I was able to steer you away from Ameriplan and towards a real online business opportunity. The WA Affiliate Bootcamp is only a 1 tier program where as MLM programs are multi tier. This is what separates WA from MLM programs out there. There are many many, different ways to make money online the bootcamp is only one of them and WA teaches you how to do it all. I would suggest starting out with the free starter membership and see what you think of it. I would then at least sample the premium membership because it is significantly discounted 59% off on your first month. This is totally up to you though Penny whenever you are ready. Once you join I will be there to guide you down the right path and show you how to make money online from the thousands of different products and services out there. I look forward to working with you and I will talk to you soon. Wealthy Affiliate The Truth.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble signing up for WA. This usually happens when a family member or someone from the same IP address tries to sign up for an account and this won’t work. I would suggest that you either try and sign up from another computer or IP address. This is all tracked by your IP address and the reason they have it setup this way is so that people can’t game the system by signing up for multiple accounts. If you continue to have problems I would send Kyle an email and let him know what issues you are having and he will get you setup. He is the co-owner of WA and his email is Kyle@wealthyaffiliate.com If you have anymore questions or need help with anything else please let me know.
“It’s worth joining WA even only for the free hosting. While it’s not something many would even realise, the free hosting alone MAKES you money. I have 7 sites hosted on WA and at an average $10 per month, would be paying $70 per month elsewhere. I only pay $29 per month at Wealthy Affiliate (i’m on the yearly plan) and that alone is enough for me to stay there indefinitely.
I haven’t even scratched the surface as to everything that you will get as a premium member. I would definitely recommend that you check it out and see if it’s what you are looking for. It has changed my life and showed me so many different ways to make money. If you need any help getting started I am here for you. Feel free to send me a message anytime you have a question. You can open up your Free account here and get started on your first training lesson.
Hi Stacey, I can relate to you getting burned by other work from home offers as I have got scammed out of several thousands of dollars in the past. I just kept up my search and that is when I came upon Wealthy Affiliate. I came across them last year, and ever since then I have made it my mission to warn other people about work from home scams. I now try and lead everyone to a safe place to learn about working from home and online business. If you are looking for a place to help with school loans or making money online you have came to the right place.
You also will be able to use the Live Chat feature. Live chat is where members ask questions to other members. The community encourages people to pay-it-forward, so successful affiliates like myself, try to hang around to answer questions in live chat throughout the day. You'll get direct access to me and a host of other full-time affiliates for the first seven days of your free Wealthy Affiliate membership.
Any amount of time you can spare developing your business is better than nothing. A lot of folks do this business part-time and make a decent income. There’s definitely effort and focus needed in the beginning, but maybe not as much as you think. There’s no cold calling, or direct sales, unlike other online businesses, there’s just a bit of learning and implementing what you learn.
I was told by Nathaniell, on a pretty good site that I thought was legitimate, that I could enhance my existing site by adding marketing for products related to my already niche field of Kitchen Design, and get paid for it! Silly me! I thought it was somewhat curious that I could go to a company like Design Within Reach, and ask them if I could market for them, and have them pay me. I didn't see how this could work. There was some kind of program partnership that wasn't fully explained. So after much resistance I signed up with a backup email to try it out for 7 days, and see if I could learn as much as I could.
Another positive point is that Wealthy Affiliate can help to minimise some of your technical expenses as they provide a hosting service for 25 domains, email addresses specific to your domain, and a light keyword research tool called Jaaxy. The combined total of these expenses for just one website can easily reach $20/mth (For reference, an email address tied to your domain costs $5/mth per account on Google Business Suite while the equivalent hosting in terms of speed/space can cost $12/mth on hosts such as Siteground and Bluehost).
This is the standard affiliate marketing structure. In this program, the merchant pays the affiliate a percentage of the sale price of the product after the consumer purchases the product as a result of the affiliate’s marketing strategies. In other words, the affiliate must actually get the investor to invest in the product before they are compensated.
We were all new to online business at some point in time. Personally, for me, I had absolutely no experience when I got started and I can totally relate to how you must feel about now. You can still join WA as a premium member no matter where you live Willz. If you happen to live in 1 of the countries I mentioned above, you just wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the free starter membership.
So actually, the reason I personally signed up for Wealthy Affiliate is likely much different than the reason YOU want to sign up. Chances are, you want to learn about how to make money online legitimately, learn how to build a website, how to blog, and more importantly, how to earn money from that blog. I wasn’t looking for that. I already knew how to do all that stuff. Instead, I signed up as a way to vet the training, tools, and resources provided by Wealthy Affiliate because I wanted to see if it was something I could promote on this very website you’re reading.
I just finished your excellent info re WA and you have answered nearly every question I had. Thank you so very much for your thorough explanation without the “get rich quick” blather of all the MLM sites. I too have been conned by MLM and was ready to give up. I am a retired marketing person with newspaper advertising background and feel I will enjoy WA and it’s valuable ongoing education. I want to supplement my limited budget but do not expect to make exorbitant amounts of money.

The phrase, "Affiliates are an extended sales force for your business", which is often used to explain affiliate marketing, is not completely accurate. The primary difference between the two is that affiliate marketers provide little if any influence on a possible prospect in the conversion process once that prospect is directed to the advertiser's website. The sales team of the advertiser, however, does have the control and influence up to the point where the prospect either a) signs the contract, or b) completes the purchase.
Hey Frank, I am writing to you because I have also been struggling with Inbox Dollars. As you mentioned they should have called it Inbox Pennies. After trying the inbox site and finding out that more than half the time I’m not qualifying for the surveys, I have become quite frustrated. Also the spinning billy is a barrel of laughs! Another reason I am contacting you is in the hopes that Wealthy Affiliate is on the up and up. I have tried a few other online money makers that I payed for, but backed out after learning more about them. I am disabled and in dire need of more supplemental income. Hoping this site is really legit. Hopes for the future, Duane.
The greatest thing about Wealthy Affiliate is the pay it forward system that they have in place. When you learn something you share it with the community so that other people can learn as well. I’m glad that you have got your account setup and you are able to log in and get started learning. Let me know if you need any help with the training lessons and I would be more then happy to help you out.
I suppose my questions are threefold: 1) Are there niches pertaining to the performing arts? 2) Do you believe a right-brained person can really learn the logistics of affiliate marketing enough to turn it into primary income? 3) Due to my lack of finances, could I start with learning in the free program and upgrade to the premium when I can better afford it?
I appreciate your input on Wealthy Affiliate. I am considering joining but I have a few questions. One, what if I already have domain names and hosting? It seems part of the monthly fee provides hosting so will my fee be reduced? Also, I’m coming from AWOL Academy. I purchased AWOL’s first program to get started and learned a lot but I have been turned off by the very strong sales pitch they use to get you to pay $10,000 to be an elite member. Can you provide a comparison of the value of the educational content between AWOL and WA?
After about 3 and a half months I had made my first sale and that was probably one of the best days of my life, I was so excited. It also confirmed that this was real and that anyone no matter who they are or what their skill level was could learn to do this. By my sixth month I was making around a couple hundred bucks a month with it increasing every day. I now am making a full time living from doing this and I absolutely love it.
Although it differs from spyware, adware often uses the same methods and technologies. Merchants initially were uninformed about adware, what impact it had, and how it could damage their brands. Affiliate marketers became aware of the issue much more quickly, especially because they noticed that adware often overwrites tracking cookies, thus resulting in a decline of commissions. Affiliates not employing adware felt that it was stealing commission from them. Adware often has no valuable purpose and rarely provides any useful content to the user, who is typically unaware that such software is installed on his/her computer.
