Hello Jan, IIU is one of those overpriced scams that I have reviewed in an earlier post. I know it’s kinda late for you now since you have been in for 8 months now with no success. If you would have joined Wealthy Affiliate you would have been well on your way to earning a nice income for yourself by this time. I would highly recommend that you at least check out their Free starter membership and try it out for yourself. I know that you will love it and find that it is the real deal.
I used wealthy affiliate for 3 months and it was confusing. It is more of a social club. The training was vague as they wanted you to go to their forum and ask the members for answers. The forum would not answer my questions most of the time or I couldn't find the answer on their website. I had a disappointing experience with their support and they were very rude and would not help and they should have. I am sure they are overwhelmed with questions and don't have the time or just don't have the disposition for customer service. Anyway, it was a complete waste of my time. I have since joined another affiliate marketing education site and it has been a wonderful and enlightening experience and their support is fast to respond, have a friendly disposition and answer my questions thoroughly. So, in summary their are a lot better alternatives out there besides wealthy affiliate.
I don't have time to la-dee-dah here. Just tell me where to go! If I feel that I need to take a few steps back I will. But no. Kyle HIMSELF made a rude comment to me. This girl suggested that I watch the Alphabet Soup section of the training, that it would help. I said this was for keyword help, and I don't need that. Kyle said that if I didn't know what keywords were for, then I had no business being on the internet. Excuse me??? I was simply stating that SHE did not understand, and led me somewhere I ALREADY KNEW ABOUT. He was rude. And within seconds revoked my ability to respond with his powerful finger.

An influencer is an individual who holds the power to impact the purchasing decisions of a large segment of the population. This person is in a great position to benefit from affiliate marketing. They already boast an impressive following, so it’s easy for them to direct consumers to the seller’s products through social media posts, blogs, and other interactions with their followers. The influencers then receive a share of the profits they helped to create.

Promote products at various price points. Even the little products (like Amazon ebooks) add up. If there is a truly useful product on the pricier side, it can still be worth the promotion even if only a few people buy it. If you’ve used a product of exceptional quality and it’s a good investment, or if it’s a product that’s unique, specialized or one-of-a-kind, go for it.
Personally for me, I was able to go full time and I was able to quit my job within 10 short months of becoming a premium member by simply following the training, leveraging the premium tools that come with the premium membership, and getting the help and support that I much needed when I first started. My income has grown considerably since then and it continues to grow more each day. The question you should be asking yourself is can you really afford to not become a premium member?
Yes you can start up a website in the cooking niche. We have many other WA members who are involved in this niche and they are doing really well with it. You could definitely put up your own recipes and share them with everyone. The FREE Starter membership is forever and it never expires. Once you join you will gain instant access to your 2 free websites, your first certification course as well as the highest quality tools available to start up an online business.
Tasty Links is our latest plugin and it allows bloggers to automagically ✨ create links for certain keywords. That way, you won’t have to keep manually adding in a link for “all-purpose flour” every time you mention it in your post. It’s a set-it-and-forget-it type of deal, and it makes earning affiliate income that much easier! We talked about how to maximize your affiliate revenue with the plugin here.
I am glad I stumbled on your site (was googling if Swagbucks was worth it and I saw your blog post about it). I thought you sounded reasonable so I checked out the rest of your blog and decided to sign up for the free 5 day course, which on Day 1 you suggest signing up for WA. It all sounds great, and I appreciate your explanation about the Amazon affiliate vs. seller.
This usually happens when you are trying to sign up using the same IP address as another WA member. This could also happen if you are using the same computer to sign up as an active WA member is using. The reason why there is only 1 user per ip address is because people try to game the system and make multiple accounts so they can cheat and be dishonest.
I know that you too can achieve this level of success if you can devote an hour or two to it everyday. Wealthy Affiliate will teach you how to start an online business that will grow everyday. Everyone is different and you could make your first sale with a month or 2, or it might take you longer than that. This is all up to how committed you are to this and how much effort you put into it. The thing I love about this is that unlike a regular J.O.B the harder you work at this the more money you can make. With a job, you might get a .50 raise a year but since I have been doing this my income has raised almost $100 every month.
Nowadays, backlinks still have some importance but there are a lot of other factors: social signals (facebook shares, retweets, pins, votes, reviews); user experience, click through rates, avergae time spent in a page, website speed, and many others. So as you can see, backlinks aren’t enough. You need to master all these other things and which Wealthy Affiliate teaches you how.
I repeatedly asked, in the general forum, for help on finding out how to do what I was led there to do. I had NO interest in creating a Wordpress blog page that would promote Wealthy Affiliates. And yet, this was all they seemed to cover. I kept asking questions and received several responses to just go through the training. For what? To buy into the gimmick? Tell me EXACTLY which training of the 10 to go to so that I don't waste my time. After all, you're selling yourself to me for me to buy into your membership at some point.

I’m glad you were able to find me and that my review of WA has helped you out. Here’s the basic rundown of how you get compensated for being an affiliate for any company out there in the online world. First you are going to need a website (You get 2 Free websites when you join WA) In order to receive monetary compensation from any company (or one that sells health care products in your case) you need to sign up for their affiliate program which is Free.
A. There could be several reason for this error. You might have already created an account in the past and you forgot about it. Someone might have created an account using your email address. Someone might have created a account using your IP (internet connection in your house) and WA thinks it might be a duplicate account. Since I do not own Wealthy Affiliate I cannot help you with this. You can contact WA support directly and see how they can help you out.
Wealthy Affiliate is built specifically for beginners, which means that it will guide you through selecting a niche and building an online business from scratch. The training is well structured so you won’t feel stuck or overwhelmed. You don’t have to worry a bit about not having a niche or any experience, because the course will guide you through it.
Thanks! by time I would finish reading your article i have made my conclusion of what to say about it. I say, it is because of your honesty that is your success in this field. You tell it like it is. You know, before starting to read your article, i was in kind of hurry to move on but every next words keep pulling me like a magnet until i read all of it. Great info, Great perspective, Great lessons to apply.
Promote products that are stepping stones to products you will create in the future. This is a bit more advanced, but is a great way to think ahead. Amy Porterfield suggests thinking about the first thing your followers will need in order to get started with what you provide. For example, I teach people how to blog, so the first thing they need to start a blog is hosting. That’s why I am an affiliate for hosting.
When I was a beginner and decided to join Wealthy Affiliate as a free member, one thing was evident right away. Wealthy Affiliate was designed with the beginner in mind. The one thing that I haven't talked about yet is time. If you can carve out 1-2 hours a night, you'll be on track to making a living. If you can't make time for the course, you shouldn't join the premium membership.
I built 10 websites to 10 pages each, across 6 different niches. Built some socials to them and earned a few links to each one. I tracked the rankings for each site and noticed Google really took to 4 of my sites. So I poured most of my energy into my favorite two sites that started ranking fast and just let the other ones sit and age. Every now and then I go back and work on the others as long term projects, but I just ran with two of the four that were ranking well.

so i’ve been searching and searching about wa! i’m a single mother so i have to provide for my daughter but am also quite poorly and am going to have to unfortunatly leae my job. i want to work from home with a decent income. i need to cover my current earnings (which isn’t much) and more. Before i take any further steps i do have some questions. I’m very much a newbie & not a techie really so my questions may be very stupid. Do you need a product to sell before joining wa because i don’t have anything myself to sell? how much can you potentially earn pcm? How long does it usually take till money starts coming in? what do you actually need before joining wa to make it worth while?

Wealthy Affiliate gives you actionable tasks to complete at the end of every lesson. This is one of the biggest advantages for new affiliate marketers. If you're a seasoned marketer looking for an edge, then the tasks may not be much of an added bonus for you. But if you're new to the game, you'll find these tasks to be extremely helpful. You will have an actionable guide that will get you up and running pretty fast.

There are many other online forums and programs that talk about making money online but whenever you ask a simple question many users will reply with: “Dude, this stupid question has been asked many times before – just google it!” – You will not get this kind of reply on WA. Wealthy Affiliate is a learning center so there are no stupid questions, every question is important and people will try to answer it as well as they can. However if you do not feel comfortable asking a question (don’t be shy, just ask!) you could simply look through the resources and questions other people asked – I can almost guarantee you will find your answer within minutes.
If you’re including affiliate links in your post, you’ll also want to include a disclosure so your readers know that you’ll earn a commission off of their purchase. If you’d like, you can set this up with Tasty Links so that a disclosure either follows each link or is inserted above your post content! Here’s an example of a blanket disclosure on Pinch of Yum:
Hi Alex, Thanks for the great review of Wealthy Affiliate. I was doing some research for months whether to join or not. Now, I finally decided to join. I will join with your affiliate link. I will also definitely join premium membership. BUT, before I join I want you to answer me one question. Here is my case, I am from Ethiopia where there is no international banking or card, and PayPal is not functional either. But I find a way to get a master card from Payoneer(international MasterCard provider). Also I managed to load my card with $104 from fiverr. That’s all I got. This will cover 2 months of my premium membership fees. So my question is: From training I got from WA will I get $100 with the end of 2nd month to cover my 3rd and 4th month fees? (considering I will work to my maximum potential and my niche will be new trendy topic.)
I would suggest that you get started by opening up your FREE account by clicking on the “JOIN NOW” button above. When you join I will be there to help you out every step of the way. I am thinking about joining but I am not sure what I am getting into. I would like to have an online business just what you state but I dont have any products to sell. You help set up a website but what would it include in the website. Will I be able to join for affiliate business programs that i can sell for the other business companies? I know you have tutorials but It sure will be confusing to me and can be frustrating. Will there be a do it for you for this business that i can lead what I want to promote or sell?

I usually get back to my referrals questions within 24 hours or less with a detailed response. When you sign up as a premium member under me this is one of the added bonuses that comes with your membership and I will be there to support you in any way I possibly can. I don’t want you to take my word for it though. I want you to experience this for yourself, Stephanie!

While these models have diminished in mature e-commerce and online advertising markets they are still prevalent in some more nascent industries. China is one example where Affiliate Marketing does not overtly resemble the same model in the West. With many affiliates being paid a flat "Cost Per Day" with some networks offering Cost Per Click or CPM.

You get the products from signing up for affiliate programs. There are thousands of different affiliate programs on the internet which are FREE to sign up with. Whatever you are passionate about and would like to promote on your website you can join their affiliate program. The most popular ones are Amazon,Walmart, and Best buy or Target. After you sign up with these companies they will give you affiliate links which you will put on your website. Whenever someone clicks your link and buys the product that you recommended you will receive a commission for that sale.
You could definitely use the websites to promote your health products. I would get started by opening your Free starter membership and checking out everything WA has to offer Elizabeth. I will be there to help you out and answer any questions you may have. I really am looking forward to working with you Elizabeth and helping you out in any way I can.

Online affiliate marketing is wide open. You can write about or promote whatever you want! However, the incredible amount of possibilities can be overwhelming, and that leaves a lot of people saying that they don't have any good ideas. There are literally hundreds of comments below saying “I don't know which topic to pick”, or “I don't have any hobbies so what should I do?”.

Some merchants run their own (in-house) affiliate programs using dedicated software, while others use third-party intermediaries to track traffic or sales that are referred from affiliates. There are two different types of affiliate management methods used by merchants: standalone software or hosted services, typically called affiliate networks. Payouts to affiliates or publishers can be made by the networks on behalf of the merchant, by the network, consolidated across all merchants where the publisher has a relationship with and earned commissions or directly by the merchant itself.

WA members are welcome to review the program, unlike many MLM members. MLMs companies force their members to sign a non-disclosure agreement, meaning that these people will never be able to publicly review and expose the company and its practices. I managed to find a few negative Wealthy Affiliate reviews and complaints online and I came to the conclusion that these reviews were written for personal reasons. Mistakes happen, misunderstanding happens and every single business will have at least one customer who isn’t going to be happy.
Dear Scott, First thanks so much for your review on Ameriplan. I was about to join until I read your review. Thank you for being frank but not overly negative. It really came across as a realistic review. Then I followed you here and am intrigued. However, some of the other WA blogs state it is not an MLM but the way you make money is by selling the WA premium package. Is that the only way you can make money? And if so how is it not an MLM? I am still going to join the free program through you as you seem like a straight shooter and easy to work with.
The whole membership site is just a clever cover for the infamous pyramid scheme. And since all the members posts these fake standard sounding positive reviews all over the internet, it’s pretty much impossible to find any criticism of WA. Not even the best and most respected membership sites have only positive reviews. The creators of WA are indeed cunning and very clever scammers.
A: Yes, Wealthy Affiliate works in Canada. In fact, it works in every country. WA teaches you how to build an online business. As long as you have access to internet you can start building your own business. I am based in Montreal, Canada but I know many members who live (and successfully earn an income) in Australia, UK, Germany, Poland, India, Ukraine, Russia, France, Chile and many many other countries.
When you join as a premium member you are going to get access to the level 2 training and up, along with access to every Boot camp phase that has been released so far. (There are 6 Phases so far) You will also get the ability to host all your websites at Wealthy Affiliate for no extra charge. You will also be able to send PMs to any of the other members including Kyle and Carson their-self and get personal one on one help.

In the past, large affiliates were the mainstay, as catch-all coupon and media sites gave traffic to hundreds or thousands of advertisers. This is not so much the case anymore. With consumers using long-tail keywords and searching for very specific products and services, influencers can leverage their hyper-focused niche for affiliate marketing success. Influencers may not send advertisers huge amounts of traffic, but the audience they do send is credible, targeted, and has higher conversion rates.
Affiliate marketing is also called "performance marketing", in reference to how sales employees are typically being compensated. Such employees are typically paid a commission for each sale they close, and sometimes are paid performance incentives for exceeding objectives.[20] Affiliates are not employed by the advertiser whose products or services they promote, but the compensation models applied to affiliate marketing are very similar to the ones used for people in the advertisers' internal sales department.
The best overall assessment of WA I’ve read yet. I’ve been a member on and off since 2015 and I’m currently on the yearly membership through October. However, I’ve still not made any real money, although I’ve made a bit here and there. I will peruse your site. On the other hand, I will ask you straight up how you go about establishing affiliate partnerships? Part of my problem is I’m not clear about what to market. As a life insurance agent, I’ve tried that to no avail. I’ve also tried marketing WA itself with very minimal results. I’m an affiliate with Amazon, EBay, and Target but I’m doing nothing. To be fair, I have not been as focused on WA and affiliate marketing as I once was. I’m also a teacher and have returned to the classroom. I found myself in bankruptcy as the result of putting all my eggs in one basket, going full-bore with WA, spending all my time and credit there. I remain hopeful I’ll one day finally get it. I’m out of school for the summer and plan to spend at leas the next 2-3 months as close to full time as possible.
I'm really grateful for the Wealthy Affiliate platform. It has allowed me to flourish as an affiliate by providing me with all the tools I needed to review products and make profitable affiliate sites. It also has given me access to real affiliates that I can ask questions if I get stuck. I am paying it forward in the same way it was paid forward to me.
Hi Jack, thank you for this information. I was just about to click on the SFM programme, which looked really good to me, but I was wondering what the Digital Business Lounge and Digital Experts Academy would cost. From what I read in your information about them, it would cost me too much money to progress. Is Wealthy Affiliate your own business or are you just recommending it? Also, SFM say you actually get someone to talk to, which impressed me, but I wouldn’t want to wait two weeks when I had a question. Look forward to hearing from you.
If you do start building your website but decide to leave – it’s actually rather simple. Even after you cancel your membership you have a full month access to your website dashboard so you could move your website anywhere you want. WA keeps the back up of your site for 6 months total in case you didn’t move it within that first month but eventually decide to do it. Look at any other company – once you cancel your account they will shut your site down for good.

Making money… that’s also a different story. I made my very first commission within 10 days of starting my WA training. It was $33 and it was late 2007. I have been making a full time income online since early 2008. Some people will see income within a week while others will take months to get there. It’s just like starting any business, online or offline. Results will vary based on many different things. Unfortunately many people jump into online business thinking they will get rich quick without doing much work and that’s a wrong mindset. If you start an offline business you’ll have to spend 2-3-4 years without salary, just making your investment back. You’ll also need $50,000 – $500,000 to start that business. While online you can start virtually with zero money and you’ll see results a lot faster than in a traditional brick and mortar business. If you want to see instant results than a business is not for you. Online or offline.
A review site, on the other hand, focuses more on reviews of products and services related to the industry. The advantage of these review sites is that people usually check out these websites when they intend to make a purchase, so the possibility of someone using your link to make a purchase is much higher. One more advantage of review websites is that you don’t have to post updates regularly, instead of waiting for product launches in your sector to be able to truly capture readers with reviews for a product they might want.

When I came into this I had 0 experience as well and I knew that there was tons of potential after just the first couple of days. I would suggest that you get started by opening your FREE account by clicking the “Join Now” button above. After you fill out your details and get your account created you should spend some time filling out your profile.
I have a question for you! But let me give you a little background info first! Some years ago I had a company in Utah make me a website; in the long run I was not overly excited with it, to say the least, and I cancelled them and by doing so I lost somewhere between $500-$750! I started to search the internet about some info pertaining to this company, of course too late! During searching I came ‘somehow’ across your website and your reviews! Lo and behold, in the various reviews, the company in question, you wrote a skating report on them and deservedly so! As mentioned before a company in Utah designing websites, you may recall whom I am referring to!?
And finally, I find that it is almost too easy to communicate with people! I love helping people and meeting new people in the industry, but as a successful affiliate marketer, I do get bombarded with so many questions from people I don’t even know. For that reason, I try to keep my responses prioritised by always responding to those who I referred through my affiliate link. Heck, they helped me earn a few bucks, so why shouldn’t they get priority? While this system works, I do sometimes feel bad at my super late response times for many of those trying to get some help.
