I used wealthy affiliate for 3 months and it was confusing. It is more of a social club. The training was vague as they wanted you to go to their forum and ask the members for answers. The forum would not answer my questions most of the time or I couldn't find the answer on their website. I had a disappointing experience with their support and they were very rude and would not help and they should have. I am sure they are overwhelmed with questions and don't have the time or just don't have the disposition for customer service. Anyway, it was a complete waste of my time. I have since joined another affiliate marketing education site and it has been a wonderful and enlightening experience and their support is fast to respond, have a friendly disposition and answer my questions thoroughly. So, in summary their are a lot better alternatives out there besides wealthy affiliate.

Yes I have been with WA for a while now (3 years to be exact) When first starting out I wouldn’t recommend starting more than 1 niche due to the fact that you will likely become overwhelmed trying to learn and write about 2 niches at the same time. Once you get some experience under your belt and are making some steady sales from 1 niche you could branch out into other niches (Like I did)
Writing product reviews are an excellent way to enhance your credibility as an affiliate marketer. This is especially easy with information products like e-books which are relatively inexpensive. After establishing some steady income it may even be worth buying higher-end products, provided you get in touch with the product creator to work out a strategic marketing plan that takes you to the next level.

Hi Candice, There are many different forms of payment that WA will accept. These include PayPal, Electronic checks (It takes 3-5 business days for these to clear) Credit and Debit cards including Visa or MasterCard. You could also have it setup to be automatically withdrawn from your bank account as well. I look forward to working with you here soon and if you have any further questions let me know and I would be glad to answer them for you.
The only other things I didn't like about OMG Machines is that the course is super disorganized, they promote tons of other programs, and one of their coaches berated me several times for asking what he considered to be stupid questions. The funny part is, he misread my question and went on the berate me about how I'll never be successful because I don't pay attention to detail. How ironic lol.
Hello I came across your web site while i was doing some research. I did read the whole thing. All i have to say is you really nailed it. I have been with wealthy affiliate since Sept 2017 and love it. This place is 100% honest. Not like the scamers that promise big bucks and then leave. And with the changes that Kyle and Carson have showed us that are coming it makes all the better.
Hi Scott I found your website and basically loved what I seen. I’m just having a few issues, when I try to sign up it says it already have an account (which I do not this is my very first time). But I still took the step as if I previously signed up before and then it said I don’t even have and account with you guys, which is what I figured, so I’m a little lost and its not letting me sign up at all. 🙁 Please Help

It's a little awkward, so we'll get straight to the point: This Monday we humbly ask you to defend Wikipedia's independence. We depend on donations averaging about $16.36. But 98% of our readers in the U.S. are not responding to our messages, and time is running out to help in 2018. If everyone reading this gave $2.75, we could keep Wikipedia thriving for years to come. The price of your Monday coffee is all we need. When we made Wikipedia a non-profit, people warned us we'd regret it. But if Wikipedia were commercial, it would be a great loss. Wikipedia unites all of us who love knowledge: contributors, readers and the donors who keep us thriving. The heart and soul of Wikipedia is a community of people working to bring you unlimited access to reliable information. Please take a minute to help us keep Wikipedia growing. Thank you.
Hi Jack, thank you for this information. I was just about to click on the SFM programme, which looked really good to me, but I was wondering what the Digital Business Lounge and Digital Experts Academy would cost. From what I read in your information about them, it would cost me too much money to progress. Is Wealthy Affiliate your own business or are you just recommending it? Also, SFM say you actually get someone to talk to, which impressed me, but I wouldn’t want to wait two weeks when I had a question. Look forward to hearing from you.
The most valuable benefits of Wealthy Affiliate University (in my opinion) are the step-by-step approach to building a business and the support from Kyle, Carson and many expert members. Most other online programs are lacking the support and the clear action plan. I have tested dozens of different programs over the past 7 years and nothing comes close to the quality of WA.
Although Wealthy Affiliate will teach you different marketing strategies that are very helpful for any kind of business, they do concentrate on affiliate marketing. Affiliate Marketing means that you get paid a commission whenever someone buys a product that you recommend. Most companies offer affiliate programs (Amazon, eBay, Target, Airlines companies, credit card companies, etc.). Since more and more people buy things online instead of going to traditional stores (for obvious reasons) it’s only wise to claim your share of these sales online. What I always loved about WA is that they encourage you to do what you love – this makes running a business a lot more fun and profitable.
Wow! Where to start first/ Great review and very detailed. I liked the part about how you started. The review itself was laid out in a very in order and organized manner. Very easy to understand and I felt as though you were talking face to face with me. I liked your reasons to join and reasons not to join. The whole decision process is pretty straight forward for the reader once he or she has finished reading the review. Nice work, and well done.
Affilorama – While I promoted Affilorama in the past, I no longer do for many reasons. It has simply become too outdated. Affilorama also lacks in some of the training. Instead, they focus on helping you get started quickly by designing a site for you and seeding it with content. Some of the optional training courses they sell are quite expensive and compares to an entire annual membership at Wealthy Affiliate, so that’s why I no longer promote them. Again, they are worth checking out, but I think Wealthy Affiliate is a much better buy.
Thanks for your reply. Some of my interests are movies, sing, dance, chat, read, travel(haven’t done much), read, watching tv, electronics, computer, games, social media, sports, food, health, money, business and more. Some interests I like more than others. I know that was too broad of an answer. If possible, I’d like to write about as much of my interests as possible. I think I asked all I could think of. Anything else I haven’t asked that you think I should know about, being a newbie and all?
I just Google “[product type] + affiliate program.” So if you want to promote e-cigs. You would Google, “e-cig affiliate programs” or something of that nature. I like going with companies who have had an affiliate program for a while. Companies with new programs often times are late with payments and/or don’t convert as well as the well established companies.
I have revealed a profitable niche website ones that was promoting motorcycle accessories and parts. Guess what happened? 15 very similar websites popped up within a few months. Unfortunately many people would rather copy your niche, your content ideas, your keywords rather than do the proper research and find their own. Folks want shortcuts to success, people expect to make a bunch of money within a day-week-month which simply isn’t going to happen. Did these websites “stole my business”? No but they definitely put a dent in it. This is why I am now very protective of my niche websites. I just launched yet another niche websites (music industry) and believe me I won’t be bragging about it openly as I spent hundreds of hours coming up with article ideas and finding amazing keywords for it. However, if you look hard enough you’ll find several members who reveal their niches and their income as well.
In 1994, Tobin launched a beta version of PC Flowers & Gifts on the Internet in cooperation with IBM, who owned half of Prodigy.[5] By 1995 PC Flowers & Gifts had launched a commercial version of the website and had 2,600 affiliate marketing partners on the World Wide Web. Tobin applied for a patent on tracking and affiliate marketing on January 22, 1996, and was issued U.S. Patent number 6,141,666 on Oct 31, 2000. Tobin also received Japanese Patent number 4021941 on Oct 5, 2007, and U.S. Patent number 7,505,913 on Mar 17, 2009, for affiliate marketing and tracking.[6] In July 1998 PC Flowers and Gifts merged with Fingerhut and Federated Department Stores.[7]

These are some pretty broad interests and we can work on narrowing them down now that you have joined WA. It also looks like we have quite a few things in common as I have many of the same interests as you. I’m also a huge gamer myself and I’m passionate about electronics. One of my very first niches was electronics and this ended up being a busted niche and I failed miserably at it when I first started.

What kind of commission do they offer? One-time commissions or recurring commissions? For example, many programs pay you one time for sending a customer. On the other hand, some programs like membership sites or SaaS (software as a service) programs will pay you a commission as long as the person you referred is a paying customer. Recurring commissions are great when you can find them! Wealthy Affiliate Review: A Skeptic no More! See my Results.
