Will my target audience realistically buy this now, or at a different time? Be sensitive to sales cycles and seasons. Maybe you should avoid holidays (when people are away from their computers, like July 4 in the U.S.) or maybe you should target holidays (like the day after Thanksgiving), but know the difference. Again, know your audience. Plan your content accordingly.
Hey Ryan thanks for the comment, All of this training on how to create visual graphics and star ratings is covered in the Boot camp at Wealthy Affiliate. Anyone can achieve this level of success and beyond if they just follow the training provided. I’m glad you liked it and thanks for stopping by if you ever need any help getting started let me know and I would love to help you out man.
I found Wealthy Affliate based on reviews by Affliate marketers on YouTube. ( not to mention they get paid a small fee for very one they sign up under them) Many had great things to say found very few bad things on this company. I wanted to earn extra cash at home. So I signed up. Only to realise it is A LOT of work you will need to do especially if your a beginner. I won’t recommend anyone with basic English/grammar skills even the tool they help supports isn’t Adequate enough. In order to see real results it will take months if not years before you see a real income. It’s subscription so even if your not putting in the work you will still need to pay up. Not to mention if you do decide to leave you will LOSE your domain name. It’s an requirement, they do offer a free one but recommend/ urge you to purchase one from them. I would suggest you really think about putting your money anywhere that sounds to good to be true. Nothing comes easy or free but most are Pyramid systems that can really have you believing your going to be a millionaire.
1.When you join their affiliate program you will be given your very own affiliate id which is called your affiliate link. You will need to put this link on your website. When someone clicks on your affiliate link on your site to Microsofts website, this will install a cookie on their computer which is what is used to track where people are coming from.
We were all new to online business at some point in time. Personally, for me, I had absolutely no experience when I got started and I can totally relate to how you must feel about now. You can still join WA as a premium member no matter where you live Willz. If you happen to live in 1 of the countries I mentioned above, you just wouldn’t be able to take advantage of the free starter membership.
To answer your next question, you would need to maintain blogs on a consistent basis in order to grow your traffic and attain higher rankings within Google and other search engines. If you aren’t able to devote the time to these websites you could always hire a writer to maintain your website with fresh and updated content. I wouldn’t advise hiring someone when you first start out because this could get expensive.
If they do make a purchase, the commission will be paid out on a set schedule and/or when you reach a minimum (the minimum depends on the program!). For example, ShareASale, the third-party affiliate network we use, issues payments on the twentieth (20th) day of each month when your account balance reaches over $50 or more for the previous months’ transactions.
I’m so glad that you are enjoying WA and I hope you are finding your way around the community. I have bought many programs in the past and they were all scams. Then I found WA and I absolutely love it. The training there is so easy to follow and everything is laid out for you. It’s a blueprint for your success if you follow it closely, and take action on what you learn.

Every niche can be profitable, it all depends on how you approach it and whether you narrow it down enough or not. I have gone into a niche when I first started that was extremely too broad. I ended up making nothing at all with it due to the simple fact that I didn’t narrow it down enough and focus on finding my targeted audience. If you don’t target the audience that is looking for what you are offering within your niche then naturally it’s not going to be profitable.

Always fill out the comment box to “sell” your platform. If you are given the opportunity to explain why you are interested in a program, do it! Use the space to highlight why you would be an asset to the program. Talk about how your audience is their audience. Talk about the size of your mailing list (if it’s significant). Talk about your success with similar programs. Talk about where and how you will promote (hopefully you’ve done a bit of research so you know what they’re hoping for). Don’t sound desperate and certainly don’t lie about anything, but be upfront and honest about how this will be a win for them.
With Premium Membership, you really get everything. I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am today if I haven’t sign up for premium. I was out of luck and out of cash when I first joined Wealthy Affiliate but I bite the bullet and focus on the things that really matter. Your chance of success increases tremendously with Premium because you get all you need to know and you get a damn quick response for all your questions.
By contrast, there are over 500 training modules within the community that take you from building your very first website to learning how to manage outsourcing aspects of your business. The core training is continuously updated to reflect changes in the industry so you can make sure your website stays ranked in search engines, generating traffic and revenue.
One last note. I’ve been asked what I think of other affiliate marketing resources, both free and paid. I’m familiar with some of them, not all. I’ve read ebooks, watch videos, bought courses and more. So far, the only paid-for course that has impressed me enough to recommend is Kayla Aimee’s Affiliate Acceleration: Impactful Strategies To Increase Your Passive Income.
Scott, I’m right there with you. Wealthy Affiliate is a great company if you want to work hard. And NO you WILL NOT get rich quickly. It is a process. And you HAVE to like to write because you generate the content for the site yourself. So if you are not interested in writing, then Wealthy Affiliate is NOT for you. One of the biggest things that I like is that you don’t have to pay a cent to start making money. Yes, they do offer a premium option and it is better in the long run, but you will have no problem making money with the free account.
Affiliates are most successful when the products they promote match the interests of their followers and subscribers. In addition, many successful affiliate marketers advise recommending and promoting only products that the affiliate is personally familiar with. That’s because familiarity with the product, program, or service helps build trust between the affiliate and end-user.

You can do this all 100% from the comfort of your home or in your case the farm. The WA website is a training center that teaches you Internet marketing and I like to think of it more like a online college. They teach you how to market a variety of products and services online and you can even learn how to create and market your own products and have other people sell them for you. The training walks you through how to do all of this and you are provided with all the necessary tools needed to get up and running including 2 free websites when you join.
Thank you so much for answering my question! About the celebrity website I thought I could build a website about a celebrity and her fans who come to my website for the latest news about her might click different adds in my website if they are interested in sth. Since most of her fans are young I can advertise different products that young people want to buy. That was my idea. But since this won’t work I’ll try to think of sth else. But I have 1 more question. I’m a college student and I can’t spend a lot of time working for the website. Is it possible to make money if I work only 1 hour a day? I know it depend on how I work too and not only how much time I spend, but I just want to have an idea of how much I can earn a month if I work only 1 hour a day. Can I make like 100$ a month? I’m not trying to get rich with the website I just want to make some money online.

I am sure you hear this a lot from people but I am going to say it anyway. I am 66 years old and I am looking for something that I can do when I retire. I have looked at and tried several online business opportunities and I have been burned and disappointed not to say frustrated. Wealthy Affiliate sounds like something I would like but I am just a little leery because of past experience. I understand I can join for free but is it totally free or are there any hidden charges? I have had that happen before and it sucks.

These could be some super interesting articles that someone could benefit from reading from! When someone types “home roasting coffee machines”, “how to roast green coffee”, or “can you roast coffee in a popcorn machine”, my website could turn up! I'll start out with these three articles, but quickly expand to more and more topics as I do more research.

I am a Wealthy Affiliate member and I can honestly tell you this review is fantastic. I love the fact that you are upfront about this not being a get rich quick scheme. I think it is so important for people to know that they will get out of it what they put into it. There are a lot of resources available, including the training, and just a lot of very knowledgeable people. There are webinars, live chat, support. It’s up to the individual as to how much effort they are going to put into building a website with quality content. This review is very thorough and I don’t think you left any stone unturned. I also love to see that you are willing to share your income so people can see this works. Thanks for sharing, you definitely motivated me to get to work!
I am really impressed with all the information you provided on the Wealthy Affiliate program.  I was reading through the testimonials, and it was really nothing but a lot of positive feedback!   The fact that the platform is free, unless you choose to upgrade, is fantastic, because it really gives people a chance to see if this type of business is for them.  That’s awesome!  Most affiliate marketing programs want money up front to sign up.  Great information!  Thanks!
I have just talked to Kyle(Co owner of WA) and he said that India is one of the countries where the starter membership isn’t available. The only other option would be if you could select a different country and try to join that way. If that doesn’t work then you would need to go premium from the start. You can get your first month at a highly discounted rate of only $19 for your first month.
Affilorama – While I promoted Affilorama in the past, I no longer do for many reasons. It has simply become too outdated. Affilorama also lacks in some of the training. Instead, they focus on helping you get started quickly by designing a site for you and seeding it with content. Some of the optional training courses they sell are quite expensive and compares to an entire annual membership at Wealthy Affiliate, so that’s why I no longer promote them. Again, they are worth checking out, but I think Wealthy Affiliate is a much better buy.
I built 10 websites to 10 pages each, across 6 different niches. Built some socials to them and earned a few links to each one. I tracked the rankings for each site and noticed Google really took to 4 of my sites. So I poured most of my energy into my favorite two sites that started ranking fast and just let the other ones sit and age. Every now and then I go back and work on the others as long term projects, but I just ran with two of the four that were ranking well.
Mistake #3: Giving your friend’s product a glowing review without actually being familiar with your friend’s product. This happens a lot in the affiliate marketing (and book marketing) world unfortunately. It’s a “scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours” type of situation. By all means, give your friend a glowing review, but if you haven’t actually read their book or taken their course or tried their product, don’t talk about it as though you have. Readers deserve honest recommendations! (Here’s an example of me helping to announce the launch of my friend’s book while being clear I hadn’t read it.)

The free websites aren’t transferable as they belong to WA, but you can transfer the content on them to another domain using the export feature in WordPress. You don’t need a business package from anywhere to have a good looking website. The only thing you need is your domain name if you decide to purchase your own domain. I NEVER have purchased any of those business package deals and I have been at this for over 2 years now and I’m making good money at it.

The starter membership was designed to get you started and give you a taste of what you will be doing before investing any money up front into this business. I have seen plenty of people make money with only the starter membership, but it wasn’t a whole lot. You aren’t going to make a whole lot of money when you first start out, you just need to keep working at it and stick with it. Your income will eventually grow over time the more you work at it. You also need to keep in mind that this is a business and at some point you will need to invest money into the premium training, tools, and help and support if you want to make really good money with it.
do they teach you inside the programme how to generate the traffic? I have built websites and blogs in the past and learnt a little about affiliate marketing but have not been able to build up the traffic or ‘get in front of the right eyes’ . Also what kind of products do you sell? If you set up an amazon affiliate is it a case of chosing digital items that relate to your niche? I was so close to doing GAZ and so glad i read your article as they dont tell you about the thousands to buy the high pice ticket! So this one could be more my stream .
Mistake #2: Using the “They must not be my people” excuse to be spammy. I’m not a fan of this common tactic. Here’s how it works: people send a huge number of sales/promotional emails to their list with no warning and with no easy way to opt out. When people complain or unsubscribe, they put it on them (“Oh well, they aren’t my type of subscriber anyway…”), instead of taking responsibility for the spam (let’s call it what it is). What ever happened to “treat others the way you want to be treated”?

Thanks for all the information I am slowly working my way through your list of do’s and donts! ! I’ve been approached by a website that wants to develop editorial content for my blog featuring home improvement tips from their”national client” and pay me $40 a year for reviewing and publishing their content. Boy, I am just not sure how this all works? Any words for when we are approached by others to write for our blogs?
They are a very clever marketing company, and are everything they say they're not. Beware, and please read. They are smarter than most, which is why they have so many followers. They claim to have the key to training a person on how to successfully create their own lucrative work-from-home blog sites. They do claim to be a lot of work, require a lot of patience, blah blah swoon. You almost had me.
From the very start until now, my experience with Wealthy Affiliate was and is just wonderful. I'm not so young anymore and I tried a lot of other affiliate platforms but they were just not good and what most bothered me about them was their upsells. Not with Wealthy Affiliate, you get what you paid for. The community is wonderful, when I'm not sure about anything I just have to ask and I will get my answer promptly. The tools that you get to use are superb and you can grow your online business without a hitch. I would recommend Wealthy Affiliate to anyone who wants to better their lives, it's worth it.
Thanks for the review I have been looking into WA and a couple other programs for a couple of weeks. I have decided WA is the way to go! However, I still have a couple of questions. They have probably been answered but I need some more clarification please. 1) I will not be paid by WA directly unless I am a part of their affiliate program, correct? Payments from other Companies come directly from the other companies? 2) This seems a little overwhelming. Is there a course of action for a newbie?
And what about joining another company's affiliate program? It's all about extra revenue. Think about your customers' needs: What other products or services would interest your site visitors? Join those affiliate programs. Affiliate programs can increase your sales with no upfront cost to you. It just takes a little time to plan your strategy and select the partners that will have the greatest impact on your business.
If you actually use the product and get results with it, then sharing a case study or your personal experience can be one of the most effective ways of selling those products to your audience. As you build a more responsive list of email subscribers and buyers and your reputation, merchants may offer you “free” samples of e-books or other products.

Scott~ I am interested in WA and seeing if I can “make it work”. Definitely willing to give it my all. But, I am looking to sign under someone who is definitely 100% available for support. In other words, not just leaving the support to what we get under WA, and not saying you’re there for support but that being just a sales pitch. I have found by experience that sometimes the individual you sign up under is very slow in responding or doesn’t check in periodically to see how you are doing or if you have any questions. They wait until they are contacted. I have signed up for a totally different on-line business venture, but the individual I signed under has NEVER contacted me. My only support comes from within the company itself. Definitely was just a sales pitch!
Whenever I talk to someone about WA – I always start by saying it’s not some money making scheme, easy system to riches or pyramid scam. So what is Wealthy Affiliate? Wealthy Affiliate University is first of all an online business community and a marketing training center. If you think that you will start making money by simply joining WA – I would suggest you walk away, it’s not going to happen. This is probably the biggest difference between WA and all the other online programs – Wealthy Affiliate does not sell hype and false promises, it doesn’t promise to make you rich overnight and it doesn’t promise you a shortcut to overnight millions of dollars. However, this program promises to teach, train, educate and support you. If you are willing to start and run a successful business – than keep reading.
I will be getting in contact with you within 60 minutes of you joining to make sure you are finding your way around the community and answer any questions you may have. I am looking forward to working with you Maria and I hope this has answered all of your questions. Thanks so much for stopping by and if you have anymore questions let me know and I would be glad to answer them for you. Wealthy Affiliate Scam Review 2018 - Is Wealthy Affiliate Worth It?
